Amberlin was born in Nova Scotia. In grade 7, she moved to Fredericton with her mother and her brother. After graduating from Fredericton High School in 2010, Amber was accepted to St. Thomas University where she studied psychology. She decided to transition from university to Atlantic Business College in 2015 entering the Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistance program. Amberlin graduated, with honours, at the top of her graduating class.
Since then, Amberlin has worked as an after-school educator in a daycare, a human resource counsellor, an at-home private home health care worker and now with Fredericton Montessori Academy as a classroom assistant.
Amber feels that she found her calling and passion for childhood education and plans to build her future with FMA.
